Nicos Smyrnios Institute of Accounting was founded in 1950, with five students who were interested in attending accounting examinations offered by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). The founder of the Institute was Nicos Smyrnios. Ever since the Institute has operated successfully and today it is one of the largest Accounting Institutes in Cyprus.

Smyrnios Institute is an approved centre for the LCCI exams which are provided by the Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers (IAB).

During its 75 years of operation, Nicos Smyrnios Institute of Accounting achieved 22 World and 87 Pancyprian metals in LCCI accounting examinations and has numerous successes.

Director of Nicos Smyrnios Institute of Accounting is Mrs. Oriana Smyrniou Papavasiliou BA, BFP, ACA who has been the author of accounting publications for the LCCI. Oriana has a wide teaching experience in accounting.
